FOOTBALL SPRING FAMILY MEETING
The annual Football Spring Family Meeting was held on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in the East auditorium. The football program presented the off-season schedule, goals, and philosophy. The Touchdown Club (booster club) also presented. It was a great time for our football family to meet and connect about the upcoming season.
All players should complete this online questionnaire by June 14.
For those unable to attend, here is a one-page summary of important information. Here is the presentation viewed by event attendees.

NEW PROGRAM COMMUNICATIONS APP: BALLFROG
Starting immediately, East activities and the East football program will now use Ballfrog. This platform enables the coaching staff to communicate schedule updates, bus departure/arrival times, event info, and more in real time. Both players and families should join Ballfrog. Fans of the program are also able to join to stay up-to-date on news updates and game schedules.
Click this link to join Ballfrog. Then do the following:
1. Download the Ballfrog app from the app store
2. Complete the app sign-up process
3. Choose to follow the football team (incoming freshmen should follow both the C-Team and V & JV; all others should follow only V & JV)
4. Click the banner for the team you are part of (freshmen = C-Team; all others = V & JV) then click "Chat" at the bottom of the screen and "Ask to Join" that team's chat
5. The football admin will then approve you as a member of that chat and you will be added to the appropriate chat(s) (which are communications between coaches, the booster club, parents/guardians, and players).
6. After you are approved, you will be able to see communications in our team(s) chats.
Note - If you don't join a chat, you will only be able to see news about the team(s) - as if you are a public fan. In that case, you will not receive internal communications from coaches and the booster club.

TOUCHDOWN CLUB & PARENT/GUARDIAN/ALUMNI VOLUNTEERING
In order for our football program to fulfill it's potential, we must create a culture where our players, parents, coaches, alumni, and other stakeholders regularly engage with each other. We must establish relationships with our peers that motivate the actions necessary for us to succeed. This can't only exist during the season; it should be year-round.
A good way for parents to start building these relationships is through the Touchdown Club. This is our booster club which supports our football program through fundraising and event management. Learn more about the Touchdown Club here. Then, attend a meeting to become an active participant.
The Touchdown Club provides opportunities for parents, guardians, and alumni to be active participants in the football program. It takes a village for us to accomplish our goal of providing a transformative experience for our student-athletes. Committing as little as one hour per month to a committee (here are existing committees) enables participants to impact the program.
Please complete this form if you are willing to participate in a committee.
